“I would like to bring you how does it feel to leave our comfort zone and how to overcome our fears. In this little reflection I will tell you about Estonian Survival Academy.
Forest is something powerful that frees our souls and lets the body breathe. When you come upon even a small kind of survival situation it will unleash your primitive side. To retreat to our basic human nature means that you are already out of your everyday routine. Overcoming something that powerful as surviving will change our mind stronger. And that will make you feel more safe and comfortable in what ever situation you will ever occur. The ability to adapt in any situation and know your mistakes is very important.
Our Survival Academy has designed its courses that they will focus on your mind and how to overcome obstacles. Strong mind makes a strong body.”
Estonian Survival Academy courses:
24 h adult courses which all of them include learning many different and very useful survival tips:
From cliff to sea and from sea to forest: this course starts with mad abseil to the sea. From there a boat will pick the group up and takes them to a exciting ride. After that its up to you – will you stay on a boat or jump to sea and work your way out to the shore. If you can make it then its the forest vs you. Find your way out and make it trough the night. In the morning you have to follow the nature marks to freedom. This is one dynamic and active course.
Bog: This course will make you wet from your first step. It will take you to famous Estonian bogs. Can you survive when the land is soft and wet? The bog tries to sink you and its up to the group to get out. If you can make it to the forests you have to build a shelter to survive the night.
Castaway: The most intense course in ESA. Participants are dropped in to the rescue raft and from there you have to get rescued. If you can make it to the shore you have to put up with a freezing night.
